Artists Comments: Camping is a great way to capture the light of an early sunrise without having the trouble of getting ready and traveling to a location. Here you just roll out of your tent, stumble to the shoreline and become
mesmerized and inspired by the beauty of the morning glow. Here I was faced with the challenge of making the
abundant lava appear interesting and not just a big blob of rocks.
